The book of an unknown author Emil Azhar DARLING turned to French literature of the 1970-ies of the genuine event. The novel generated numerous responses and was awarded a major literary prize. Only later it turned out that he played this brilliant literary hoax known writer, Prix Goncourt winner Romain Gary. Sincere, marked by reciprocity friendship with boa as citizenship is a conscious choice of the main character of the book. But as it turns out, modern society is not yet ready for such a turn of events... This novel is about a payment for otherness, in which the comic turns into high tragedy. Will yield to the will of the publisher, Romain Gary agreed to delete from the first edition, the final Chapter of the novel. It was published in French in 2007, and now in Russian DARLING comes out in the form in which it was originally intended.
